Adding Value to Additive Manufacturing

Poly-Med CTO, Scott Taylor presented at MD&M East earlier this month at Tech Theater. Dr. Taylor’s presentation focused on 3D printing with bioresorbable polymers. The innovation in the additive manufacturing field is changing daily and Poly-Med is excited to be part of this transforming industry as we launched three 3D printing filaments in New York.

There is a lack of medical grade filaments available to companies looking to develop bioresorbable medical devices using 3D printing. Our foundation at Poly-Med is materials, so it was a natural progression to develop the materials that meet quality standards for this technology.
